Tour Description

The day starts at our kennel in Beito, where you will get acquainted with the huskies who will be part of your team for the rest of you visit. You will be able to interact with these amazing sled dogs with their happy eyes, wagging tails, and fast legs.

We will start by getting the huskies ready. You will learn how harnesses the dogs and how to correctly place them in the team. Your guide will share the essential know how and teach you some tricks before the trip. It is not until you say the “GO” you´ll get to feel the tremendous power found in a team of huskies.

An experienced guide will lead the first team and the rest will follow behind by instinct along the entire trail throughout the beautiful terrain.

Normally two people will share a sled, one steering and one sitting on the sledge, changing positions along the trail. Small children can sit together with an adult. If you don't wish to steer the huskies, just let us know in advance and you can simply relax and enjoy the ride.

This guided tour is named in honour of one of Our very first huskies and is 12-15 kms long.

Our tour leaders and “mushers” are skilled and experienced nature guides, committed to providing a fun, "green" and safe adventure. Ask your guide anything you ever wondered about dog sledding, huskies or sled dogs!

We recommend
